About Cedar Ridge Stables

 Cedar Ridge Stables was established by Mark and Lesley Freeman in 1975 with a handful of Arabian horses. They started competing in Endurance rides in 1981 and have since been involved in sponsoring and organsing endurance events over the last 25 years. Mark and Lesley have both served on Various State and National Administrative bodies for the sport. 

The Arabian Stud is now based at Oberon which is on the Central tablelands of NSW, Australia (3 hour drive from Sydney Internationl Airport) where the breeding program has maintained numbers at around 150 Purebred Arabian Horses.

   

Cedar Ridge  Stables has been successful over all distances including 80km, 120km, 160km and 400km events.

 

  • 3 x winner of the 400km Marathon ride known as 'Shahzada'
  • Multiple Heavyweight Division wins in the 160km National Championship Event 'Tom Quilty'
  • Participated in International Competition overseas
  • Multiple Division places in the 160km State Rides
  • Multiple Ride wins over all distances
  • Multiple Division wins over 120km and 80km in both AERA and FEI competitions
  • Multiple Best Conditioned Awards in all distances of competition

 

Future goals of Cedar Ridge Stables include Sponsoring and Running more AERA and FEI Events in NSW Australia and promoting the sport of Endurance Riding.
